Abstract

La présente invention concerne des matrices physiologiques tridimensionnelles, des procédés, un appareil et des trousses permettant la conception, l'analyse et l'évaluation accélérées de remèdes oncologiques. Les aspects principaux selon l'invention incluent des matrices, et particulièrement des matrices de gel, renfermant une ou plusieurs fibres physiologiques, qui sont conçues et disposées pour produire des conditions permettant d'évaluer des événements, tels que le déplacement de cellules loin des limites d'échantillons de tissu cible au travers de la matrice, selon un mode qui produit des données utiles à l'évaluation du statut oncologique et des caractéristiques des cellules. Dans un autre aspect important, l'invention concerne des tests et des analyses in vitro d'une ou de plusieurs thérapies classiques, expérimentales ou théoriques relatives à des tissus ou des cellules cibles spécifiques. Des composés thérapeutiques et leurs combinaisons, des thérapies par irradiation, des combinaisons de composés thérapeutiques et de radiations et de nombreuses autres thérapies possibles font partie de telles thérapies.
