Abstract
Clamshells, turban shells and the like, discharged in large amounts from restaurants (e.g., sashimi restaurants and coquille restaurants), are intractable waste, which cannot be used as feed stuffs or compost and cannot be burned. The clamshells and the turban shells are recycled into household products such as flowerpots and decorations, which have an aesthetic appearance and have practical usefulness.
Description
Description OMITTED
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to the recycling of clamshell or turban shell waste.
Background Art [2] The present invention relates to the recycling of clamshell or turban shell waste.
More particularly, the present invention has the object of recycling shellfish waste as household products, such as flowerpots, or decorations. The present invention also makes it possible to impart different shapes and characters to the household products and miscellaneous goods, which have been conventionally uniform and standardized. [3] Conventionally, the clamshells and the turban shells have been used as raw materials for souvenirs (e.g., necklaces) or decorations (e.g., picture frames). However, no household products, such as flowerpots, or decorations have been made by combining the original shapes of the clamshells and the turban shells into various forms.
Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem [4] In order to realize the foregoing object, clamshells and/or turban shells are boiled in a detergent solution, which is mixed with water, for a predetermined time in order to remove impurities, such as muscles and guts. [5] When the clamshells and/or turban shells are left to sit for a long time, muscles and other tissue remaining on the shells take on a bad smell and become a habitat for harmful insects (e.g., maggots). [6] Predetermined types of shells are arranged in a frame (or mold), which is selected so as to realize a desired shape. [7] The shells are tacked to the frame using a hot melt adhesive (e.g., solid silicone) and are then fixed using silicone or a strong adhesive, thereby forming parts or final products. [8] After various products are manufactured by bonding natural clamshells and turban shells, paint and, additionally, brightener is applied to bonded portions for aesthetic purposes. [9] Finally, moss (e.g., green moss) is bonded to the bonded portions to provide an aesthetic appearance to the products.
Technical Solution [10] The flowerpots and decorations according to the present invention have an effect of recycling clamshells and turban shells from food waste. The clamshells and the turban
shells are intractable waste, which cannot be used as feed stuffs or compost and cannot be burned. The present invention can reduce the amount of waste, thereby helping improve the environment as well as creating additional value.
Advantageous Effects
[11] The flowerpots and decorations according to the present invention have an effect of recycling clamshells and turban shells from food waste. The clamshells and the turban shells are intractable waste, which cannot be used as feed stuffs or compost and cannot be burned. The present invention can reduce the amount of waste, thereby helping improve the environment as well as creating additional value. Brief Description of the Drawings
[12] FIG. 1 is a perspective view and a front elevation view illustrating an embodiment of the present invention;
[13] FIG. 2 is a rear elevation view, a left elevation view and a right elevation view illustrating the embodiment of the present invention;
[14] FIG. 3 is a plan view and a bottom view illustrating the embodiment of the present invention; and
[15] FIG. 4 is reference views illustrating various embodiments of the present invention.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[16] According to an aspect for realizing the above object, the present invention provides a flowerpot. The flowerpot is produced by fixing clamshells and turban shells using a silicone and an adhesive, and then bonding portions and hollow portions are finished with moss (e.g., green moss).
[17] Flowerpots and decorations of the present invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
[18] The present invention uses clamshells, turban shells, moss (green moss), an adhesive (e.g., a silicone and a bond), and the like.
