Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de détection du lupus érythémateux systémique (LES) offrant une sensibilité et une spécificité supérieures à celles d'un procédé de détection classique consistant à déterminer un anticorps anti-Sm et/ou un anticorps anti-ADNdb. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à détecter un anticorps anti-aldolase A constituant un marqueur de maladie pour le LES. Un épitote contre un anticorps anti-aldolase A occupe une région située entre un résidu d'acide aminé en position 94 et un résidu d'acide aminé en position 183 d'une terminaison N d'une séquence d'acides aminés constituant l'aldolase A (SEQ ID NO:1). Le procédé de détection est mis en œuvre à l'aide d'un polypeptide issu de la région et présentant une antigénicité contre un anticorps anti-aldolase A, ou d'un polypeptide contenant la région, utilisé comme polypeptide antigénique.
