Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux arts décoratifs et appliqués, et peut servir à créer des images artistiques décoratives, des images et des textes publicitaires, des panneaux, des stands, des tableaux, etc. Le procédé selon l'invention, qui consiste à fragmenter une image, à afficher les fragments de ladite image sur la surface de supports séparés, et à former une image entière, est caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste à produire les fragments d'image en réfléchissant, par la surface spéculaire des supports, des objets de couleurs et de luminosité différentes, et à diriger les flux lumineux réfléchis par la surface des supports vers une zone spatiale de taille limitée (zone focale). Le dispositif de production d'images selon l'invention comprend une ou plusieurs bases possédant chacune une surface d'affichage d'images et une pluralité de supports de fragments d'image formée sur chaque base et constituant la surface de celle-ci, la surface des supports de fragments d'image étant constituée d'un matériau présentant un pouvoir réfléchissant élevé. Chacun des supports est orienté de façon que l'image qui y est réfléchie soit dirigée vers la zone spatiale de taille limitée, les divers supports étant orientés de façon que des objets présentant des couleurs et une luminosité identiques ou différentes puissent être réfléchis, ce qui dote la surface des supports séparés de couleurs différentes ou identiques présentant une luminosité différente ou identique, et permet ainsi de former une image mosaïque pouvant être observée à partir de la zone focale.
