Procédé de production de Gaz Naturel Liquéfié (GNL) dans une station de réduction de pression (PRS) comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) expansion d'un courant d'entrée de gaz naturel depuis un système de transmission de gaz; b) séparation du courant d'entrée de gaz entre un premier courant de liquide contenant des hydrocarbures lourds et un premier courant de gaz riche en méthane; c) expansion du premier courant de gaz; d) séparation du premier courant de gaz entre un premier courant de gaz usé et un second courant de liquide; e) expansion du second courant de liquide; f) séparation du second courant de liquide entre un second courant de gaz et un premier courant de produit de GNL.
