Abstract

L'invention concerne un implant intervertébral distractable comprenant : - un premier ensemble (10) constitué par un premier plateau prothétique (16) et un premier élément d'espacement (18), ledit plateau prothétique étant solidaire du premier élément d'espacement; - un deuxième ensemble (12) constitué par un deuxième plateau prothétique (22) et par un deuxième élément d'espacement (24) évidé, dont la première extrémité est solidaire du deuxième plateau prothétique et le premier élément d'espacement étant apte à coulisser dans le deuxième élément d'espacement; et - un moyen (14) d'immobilisation en translation et en rotation des éléments d'espacement entre eux, lesdits moyens comprenant un collier de serrage (28) entourant une partie de la surface externe du deuxième élément d'espacement, et une vis de blocage (30) pour serrer ledit collier sur le deuxième élément d'espacement.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS MODIFIÉES reçues par le Bureau international le 16 janvier 2008 (16.01.2008)REVENDICATIONS
1. Implant intervertébral distractable comprenant :
- un premier ensemble (10) constitué par un premier plateau prothétique (16) et un premier élément d'espacement (18) dont au moins une partie de la surface externe est cylindrique, ledit plateau prothétique étant solidaire du premier élément d'espacement ;
- un deuxième ensemble (12) constitué par un deuxième plateau prothétique (22) et par un deuxième élément d'espacement (24) évidé dont au moins une partie de la surface interne est cylindrique, la première extrémité du deuxième élément d'espacement étant solidaire du deuxième plateau prothétique et le premier élément d'espacement étant apte à coulisser dans le deuxième élément d'espacement ; et
- un moyen (14) d'immobilisation en translation et en rotation du premier élément d'espacement par rapport au deuxième élément d'espacement, lesdits moyens comprenant un collier de serrage (28) et une vis de biocage (30) par laquelle la distance entre les deux plateaux prothétiques est réglable, l'implant se caractérisant en ce que :
- ledit collier de serrage (28) entoure une partie de la surface externe du deuxième élément d'espacement, et
- ladite vis de blocage (30) serre ledit collier sur le deuxième élément d'espacement de manière à ce que la déformation élastique du deuxième élément d'espacement solidarise entre eux les deux éléments d'espacement.
2. Implant selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que chaque plateau prothétique (16, 22) est amovible par rapport à l'élément d'espacement (18, 24) qui lui est associé.
3. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 et I1 caractérisé en ce que chaque plateau prothétique (16, 22) présente une face d'ancrage (16a, 22a) dans un plateau vertébral, chaque plateau prothétique comportant un élément d'ancrage (44) faisant saillie dans la face d'ancrage.
4. Implant selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que chaque élément d'ancrage (44) est amovible par rapport au plateau prothétique (16, 22) qui lui est associé. 11
5. Implant selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que chaque élément d'ancrage (44) et chaque plateau prothétique (16, 22) est conforme pour que chaque élément d'ancrage puisse occuper plusieurs positions angulaires par rapport au plateau prothétique qui lui est associé.

Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre une entretoise tubulaire (20, 26) apte à être interposée entre un plateau prothétique (16, 22) et la première extrémité de l'élément d'espacement (18, 24) qui lui est associée pour en augmenter la longueur.
7. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que la surface externe du premier élément d'espacement (18) et la surface interne du deuxième élément d'espacement (24) présentent une rugosité sur au moins une partie de leur longueur.

Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le deuxième élément d'espacement (24) présente sur au moins une partie de sa longueur une fente longitudinale (4) débouchant dans sa deuxième extrémité pour favoriser la déformation élastique du deuxième élément d'espacement sous l'effet du serrage dudit collier (28).
9. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un desdits éléments d'espacement (24) présente dans sa paroi latérale au moins une ouverture (63) pour la mise en place d'un complément de greffon dans l'implant.
10. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que ledit deuxième élément d'espacement (24) présente sur sa surface externe une gorge annulaire (51) pour recevoir ledit collier de serrage.
11. Implant selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 10, caractérisé en ce qu'un plateau prothétique (16, 22) est rendu solidaire de la première extrémité d'un élément d'espacement (18, 24) ou d'une entretolse (20, 26) par un dispositif d'encliquetage (66).
