Abstract

The invention relates to a dashboard having a door mounted on a hinge member, of the type in which the articulation of the hinge member is formed by a flexible strap, one side of the hinge member being secured to the door and an opposite side being fastened to a member for fastening to the dashboard. The part (24) secured to the door (14) comprises a first strap part overmoulded into a flap (16) and the flap (16) is welded to the door, the part (28) fastened to the member (38) for fastening to the dashboard comprises a second overmoulded strap part, and the articulation part (26) is formed by a strap part separating the two overmoulded strap parts. The invention can be applied to motor vehicle dashboards.
