Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein laterale Wirkungen auslösendes Multifunktionsmodul (1) für Geschosse, Wirkkörper und Gefechtsköpfe zur Bekämpfung massiver, strukturierter und flächenhafter Ziele. Das Modul besteht grundsätzlich aus beliebig gestaltbaren, dynamisch ausreichend formstabilen vorderen und hinteren Flächen/Konturen (1A, 1C) und deren Verbindung (1B). Die Konturen (1A, 1C) bestehen aus äußeren (A) und inneren Wirkflächen (B). Entsprechend einer gewünschten Verteilung der Lateralkomponenten in den an das Modul angrenzenden Splitterkörperflächen können die Konturen des Moduls z.B. konvex, konkav, kreisbogen- oder kegelförmig ausgebildet sein. Das Multifunktionsmodul (1) ist zwischen einer ballistischen Haube, einem Vorkern oder einem lateral zu beschleunigenden Vormodul (2) und einem hinteren Geschosskörper (3) angeordnet. Über die Verzögerungskräfte beim Auftreffen bzw. Durchdringen und/oder über die von der Trägheitswirkung des hinteren Geschosskörpers (3) ausgeübten Kräfte auf das Modul (1) erzeugt dieses vermöge seiner Gestaltung bei Splitter bildenden Hüllen, fragmentierbaren oder dehnbaren Schichten sowie Hüllen mit eingefügten oder aufgelegten Wirkkörpern radiale Geschwindigkeitskomponenten. In Kombination mit einem Multifunktionsmodul (1) kann in dem Geschoss oder Wirkkörper ein zentraler Penetrator (9) angeordnet sein. Das Modul erweitert auch den Funktionsbereich von Geschossen bzw. Wirkkörpern mit PELE- und ALP-Effekten.
