Abstract

On connaît un problème dans l'état de la technique en ce que la commutation d'un segment de connexion d'une connexion existante (Hand Off) entre deux usagers d'un réseau FMC (Fixed mobile Conversion) sur un autre protocole de transmission n'est pas prise en charge par le réseau. L'invention résout cette difficulté dans la mesure où une demande de commutation provenant d'un appareil de terminaison Dual Mode (DMH) fait en sorte que le réseau commute le dernier segment de connexion vers cet appareil de terminaison sur un autre protocole de transmission et dans ce cas maintient intact le segment de connexion restant vers l'autre usager.
