Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Darstellung der Position einer medizinischen Einrichtung im Körper (K) eines Lebewesens, umfassend: eine mit zumindest einem Transponder (3) versehene medizi-ische Einrichtung, eine Bilderzeugungseinrichtung (12, 13, 14) zur Erzeugung eines ersten Bilds eines Abschnitts des Körperinneren aus ersten Bilddaten, wobei die ersten Bilddaten mit Koordinaten eines ersten Koordinatensystems korreliert sind, zumindest einen außerhalb des Körpers (K) vorgesehenen Sender (1) zum Senden eines elektromagnetischen Sendesignals (S) zum Transponder (3), zumindest einen außerhalb des Körpers (K) vorgesehenen Empfänger (1) zum Empfangen eines vom Transponder (3) infolge des ersten Sendesignals (S) abgestrahlten elektromagnetischen Reflexionssignals (R), eine Positionsermittlungseinrichtung (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) zur Ermittlung der Position des Transponders (3) in einem zweiten Koordinatensystem, wobei die Position aus einem sich aus der Phasendifferenz zwischen dem Sende- (S) und dem Reflexionssignal (R) ergebenden Abstand (d) zwischen dem Empfänger (1) und dem Transponder (3) ermittelt wird, einer Korrelationseinrichtung zur Korrelation des ersten und des zweiten Koordinatensystems und einer Bildüberlagerungseinrichtung zur Erzeugung eines das erste Bild und darin die Position des Transponders (3) wiedergebenden zweiten Bilds.
