Definitions
- the invention relates to a device with a planar antenna which is capacitively or inductively electrically loaded.
- the object is achieved in that the An ⁇ antenna is extended by a support element, which is at the same time connecting element for an electrical component.
- the support element is angled relative to the antenna according to claim 3, so this allows a particularly favorable in terms of dimensions arrangement, since then a connection to a reference plane, e.g. the earth potential, is possible.
- a reference plane e.g. the earth potential
- the electrical component is located in a reference plane, to which the at ⁇ antenna having a short-circuit connection.
- the drawing shows a planar antenna 1 which is electrically, here e.g. is loaded by a capacity 2.
- This is a "planar inverted F antenna” (PIFA) known in professional circles under the English name.
- This antenna 1 has a short-circuit connection to the reference plane 3, generally the ground potential.
- the electrical loading of the antenna 1 is effected by an electrical component 2 in SMD design, which is designed here as a capacitor 4, but may generally be a complex resistor with an ohmic and / or a capacitive or inductive component.
- the electrical component 2 is located in the reference plane 3.
- the antenna 1 is extended by an angled mechanical support ⁇ element 4, which contacts the electrical component 2, that is, the complex resistor.
- the support element 4 is at the same time a connection element for the electrical component 2.
- the design of the mechanical support element 5 such as width and height defines inter alia the impedance behavior of the antenna 1.
- the reference numeral 5 denotes a possible feed point for a high-frequency signal.
- the inventive electrically loaded antenna 1 is preferably used in read / write devices and so-called transponders in RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identy) application.

Description
Beschreibung
