Abstract
La présente invention concerne une plateforme de développement complète et une technologie côté client destinés à la livraison intelligente et rentable de contenu vidéo, audio et haut débit par le biais d'un réseau, tel que l'Internet, vers des dispositifs bureautiques, informatiques mobiles et connectés au réseau. Dans un mode de réalisation, un système de livraison intelligent (IDS) emploie des techniques de comportement de livraison pour contrôler la livraison de contenu téléchargé sur un dispositif connecté au réseau. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'IDS fournit un système et un procédé de téléchargement de contenu, tel que tout type de contenu multimédia vidéo et/ou audio, via une application, l'Internet ou un protocole web, tel que tout type ou forme du protocole HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) à partir d'une source de contenu fournissant le contenu multimédia via plusieurs serveurs. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'IDS emploie une technique de remise en ordre de stockage permettant de stocker de manière efficace sur une cible des segments de fichier du contenu téléchargé reçus dans un ordre aléatoire à partir d'une source de contenu. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, l'IDS fournit automatiquement à un utilisateur un accès hors connexion à du contenu vidéo d'un site web. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, l'IDS livre du contenu hors connexion sur un client qui offre une expérience utilisateur similaire au contenu correspondant accédé via un réseau, tel que du contenu mis à la disposition d'un utilisateur consultant un site web sur l'Internet. Dans encore un autre mode de réalisation, l'IDS fournit un système et un procédé de personnalisation de contenu vidéo téléchargé pour plusieurs utilisateurs d'un client. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'IDS fournit un système et un procédé de synchronisation entre plusieurs dispositifs pour un utilisateur de lecture de contenu livré en continu ou téléchargé. Dans encore d'autres modes de réalisation, l'IDS fournit un système et un procédé permettant aux utilisateurs de télécharger du contenu multimédia sur un ou plusieurs dispositifs informatiques associés à l'utilisateur à partir de tout dispositif connecté à l'Internet ou à un réseau, y compris les dispositifs informatiques mobiles et de télécommunications mobiles.
