Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de discrimination et d'atténuation des échos d'un signal audionumérique engendré à partir d'un codage par transformée, dans lesquels pour chaque trame courante du signal, on compare (A) en temps réel, dans au moins une bande de fréquences une variable issue d'une caractéristique du signal générateur d'écho à celle du signal non générateur d'écho à une valeur de seuil, et on conclut (B) à l'existence ou à la non existence (C) d'un écho issu du codage par transformée, on discrimine l'existence d'écho et on définit (D) une zone de fausse alarme dans les parties du signal audionumérique à haute énergie, on détermine un traitement initial et on atténue les échos (E) dans les parties complémentaires de la zone de fausse alarme à basse énergie et on inhibe (F) l'atténuation des échos dans la zone de fausse alarme. Application à la technologie des codeurs - décodeurs notamment hiérarchiques.
