Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung und ein Verfahren zum Spalten von Wasser, wobei die Anordnung ausgestattet ist mit einer ersten Elektrode und wenigstens einer weiteren Elektrode; wenigstens einer zwischen der ersten und der weiteren Elektrode angeordneten porösen f erroelektrischen Schicht; sowie einer Wechselspannungs- oder gepulster Gleichspannungsquelle. Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren ist es möglich Wasser wirtschaftlich in Wasserstoff und Sauerstoff zu spalten und die Gase für technische Zwecke zu gewinnen.
