Abstract

A heat shielding device (1) for reducing heat exposure to a wearer comprises a multilayer structure. The multilayer structure comprises at least one reflective layer (2) to reflect heat radiation away from the wearer and at least one insulating layer (12) to prevent conduction of heat through the heat shielding device. The device finds particular utility in the protection of the male reproductive organs from excessive exposure to high temperatures .
