Abstract

Device for creating a visual effect intended to simulate the firing of a toy or to improve the visual effect of firing within the context of an optical firing game. The invention relates to a device for improving or creating a visual effect, simulating firing, but visible without requiring the presence of smoke. It consists of a controlled collimated light source (10) and it creates, on its surface (40), at least for a moment, a visible light spot (13) which follows, seen from above, a straight path either from a position closer to said device towards a further position, or in the opposite direction. A controlled mechanism (20) causes the controlled collimated light source (10) or one or more reflecting elements (30) to move the spot (13). A mask (50) may be provided for limiting the angular travel of the light beam (11) or of the deflected light beam (12). The device according to the invention is particularly intended for creating a visual effect in which the firing by a remotely controlled tank is represented.
