- Pouch packages are the well-known type of dispensing packages that are used, for example, in the packaging of condiments such as ketchup as may be found at typical fast-food restaurants.
- Pouch packages are formed of thin films (e.g., of aluminum foi! or foil/plastic laminates) sealed together to form a containment pouch for a product to be dispensed The product to be dispensed is contained within the pouch package until the package is opened, for example by tearing.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un emballage de confinement de type sachet pour contenir et distribuer des produits, comportant un film avant et un film arrière scellé au film avant selon une pluralité de scellées bord à bord. Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, l'emballage de confinement de type sachet comporte une partie de scellé élargie orientée vers l'intérieur depuis un premier scellé de bord de la pluralité de scellés bord à bord et une découpe diagonale de forme allongée orientée sensiblement à travers le premier scellé de bord et pénétrant dans la partie de scellé élargie. La partie de scellé élargie et la découpe diagonale de forme allongée facilitent le déchirement simple à direction contrôlée. Dans un mode de réalisation de l'invention, l'emballage de confinement de type sachet présente un renflement préformé, une partie de scellé élargie orientée vers l'intérieur depuis deux scellés de bord adjacents à l'angle où les deux scellés de bord se rencontrent, et deux découpes diagonales de forme allongée orientées dans la partie de scellé élargie, facilitant le déchirement d'une partie d'angle de forme globalement triangulaire.
