  • the releasable locking tab 252 has a trapezoidal shape.

  • the end cap can be freely twisted within the sleeve opening, even when the end cap does not have a circular perimeter. Twisting the end cap causes a movement of the channel relative to the tab.   • a rectangular locking tab 272 may be used. As shown in FIGS. 20A-D, one side of the channel 274 is provided with a ramp 276 leading up to surface 278. When the end cap is twisted, the locking tab 272 rides up the ramp 276 and onto surface 278 to disengage the locking mechanism. In this example, only one ramp 276 is provided. Thus, the locking mechanism can only be released by twisting the end cap in the direction of the ramp 276. If desired, a second ramp can be added to the other side of the channel 274 to allow the locking mechanism to be released by twisting the end cap in either direction.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un conditionnement de produit qui comprend un manchon et au moins un bouchon de protection rigide. Le manchon présente une première et une seconde extrémité opposées l’une à l’autre dans la direction longitudinale, la première extrémité du manchon définissant une ouverture et possédant au moins deux languettes de verrouillage s’étendant depuis celle-ci. La première extrémité du manchon comprend également une bande déchirable positionnée de manière adjacente à l’ouverture, laquelle a été formée à l’aide de techniques connues, telles que la microperforation. Chaque languette de verrouillage comprend une arête de verrouillage et se plie vers l’intérieur, dans l’ouverture. Un bouchon de protection rigide est dimensionné de manière à s’ajuster étroitement dans l’ouverture du manchon, le bouchon de protection comprenant un bord qui, lorsque le bouchon de protection est inséré dans l’ouverture, s’engage avec la première extrémité du manchon et empêche que le bouchon de protection ne soit davantage inséré dans l’ouverture. Le bouchon de protection comprend également au moins un canal pour la réception de la paire de languettes de verrouillage, le ou les canaux présentant un rebord qui s’engage avec l’arête de verrouillage de chaque languette de verrouillage afin d’empêcher que le bouchon de protection ne soit retiré de l’ouverture du manchon. La bande déchirable peut également comprendre une patte auquel un utilisateur peut accéder.
