Description

Description AN OVEN
[0001] The present invention relates to an oven comprising a tray and a wire rack.
[0002] The trays and wire racks utilized in ovens are support components that are used separately. The wire racks are basically divided into two types. One type of wire racks is used by emplacing in a tray for making grills without being inserted into the supports forming the shelves in the cooking chamber. Here the oil of the food emplaced on the wire rack is drained and collected in the tray beneath. The other type of wire rack is a different type that can be inserted into the support separately, for holding the shaped bakeware pans in which foods such as cake and pastry are baked. In order to meet this variable usage requirement, two different types of racks should be provided in a cooking device.
[0003] In the current state of the art, the reason why the tray and the inner rack cannot be used together in the support is that the width of the in-tray racks is smaller than the width of the trays. The wire rack is emplaced into the tray at whichever position the tray is and inserted into the oven. In this kind of an embodiment, it is not possible to use the wire racks emplaced into the trays in the supports separately from the trays.
[0004] The general use of two different types of wire racks in the ovens presents additional costs for the user. In the conventional implementation, the production of two different wire racks for ovens of different sizes also increases the costs of molding and inventory storage. Furthermore, when grilling is desired to be made, the tray placed under the wire rack reduces the cooking volume particularly in the mini ovens. Another problem is the hardship of storing the racks in the oven when the oven is not used.
[0005] The object of the present invention is the realization of an oven comprising a wire rack that can be emplaced on the shelf in the cooking chamber separately or with the tray.
[0006] The oven realized in order to fulfill the objectives of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the dependent claims thereof, comprises a wire rack that can be attached to a tray inserted into the cooking chamber or emplaced separately from the tray.
[0007] The oven realized in order to fulfill the objectives of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
[0008] Figure 1 - is the front perspective view of an oven. [0009] Figure 2 - is the perspective view of a wire rack and a tray before being joined together. [0010] Figure 3 - is the top view of a wire rack and a tray after being joined together and emplaced in the support. [0011] Figure 4 - is the perspective view of a wire rack and a tray after being joined together.
[0012] Figure 5 - is the view of detail X. [0013] Elements shown in figures are numbered as follows:
1. Oven
2. Cooking chamber
3. Support
4. Wire rack
5. Frame
6. Rod
7. Bending curve
8. Tray
9. Holding portion
10. Recess
11. Stopper
[0014] The oven (1) of the present invention comprises a cooking chamber (2) having one or more heaters to cook the food, one or more supports (3) formed oppositely on the side walls of the cooking chamber (2), a wire rack (4) that is emplaced in the supports (3) for grilling or holding a container, and a tray (8) wherein food items are emplaced to be cooked.
[0015] The tray (8) comprises a holding portion (9) that is seated in the support (3), a recess (10) shaped like a groove situated on the holding portion (9) that extends towards the center of the cooking chamber (2) and at least two stoppers (11) on its corners, that form a protrusion on the tray (8) surface.
[0016] The wire rack (4) comprises a frame (5) the sides of which sit on the support (3), more than one rod (6) assembled on the frame (5) that provide holding the foods or the cookware on, and at least two bending curves (7) situated on at least two of its corners, that provide the frame (5) to bear on the stopper (11) by being flexed slightly.
[0017] In this embodiment, the tray (8) and the wire rack (4) can be used together or separately as desired.
[0018] When the wire rack (4) is emplaced on the tray (8), some portion of the side edges of the tray (8) are seated on the support (3), whereas the portion of the recess (10) is not seated on the support (3).
[0019] The frame (5) of the wire rack (4) of the present invention has a size that enables the wire rack (4) to be used separately. The wire rack (4) is provided to be seated on the tray (8) by means of the bending curves (7) formed by reducing the width of the frame (5) in the portions of the rack (4) corresponding to the corners of the tray (8) with the stopper (11). Thus the wire rack (4) is provided to entirely fit into the stopper
(H).
[0020] The bending curves (7) provide the wire rack (4) to be seated on the support (3) together with the tray (8) by aligning the sides of the frame (5) to the same level with the sides of the tray (8). The recess (10) provides the wire rack (4) to be held from these sides and be separated from the tray (8). The portion of the frame (5) that is above the recess (10) when the wire rack (4) is seated on the tray (8), projects towards the sides of the tray (8) and provides it to be seated on the support (3), and when desired to be easily separated from the tray (8) by holding from this portion.
[0021] By being able to use the wire rack (4) separately or on the tray (8), the inventory and production costs are reduced since the need for using two different wire racks (4) is not required.
