Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour protéger une configuration de données à modification constante qui est enregistrée dans une mémoire lisible par machine, par exemple la configuration de données d'un système d'exploitation, pour empêcher tout changement non voulu. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes qui consistent : a) à détecter des valeurs relatives à un paramètre spécifique qui caractérise un état de la configuration de données ; b) à générer un profil de données courant à partir des données acquises au cours de l'étape a) ; c) à comparer ce profil de données avec au moins un profil de données prédéfini ; d) à associer le profil de données généré à une catégorie faisant partie d'au moins deux catégories, en fonction de la comparaison réalisée au cours de l'étape c), au moins une desdites catégories correspondant à au moins un état normal de la configuration de données, et au moins une autre de ces catégories correspondant à au moins un état anormal de la configuration de données ; e) à effectuer au moins une opération de protection, lorsque le profil de données généré est associé à une catégorie correspondant à un état anormal.
