Abstract

Disclosed is an ink dosing device (1) for an ink application unit (6), in which a pulsed valve (28, 36) is provided between a displacement chamber (14) and an ink application unit (6). A predetermined amount of ink can be conveyed from the displacement chamber (14) to the ink application unit by specifically influencing the pulse/pause ratio when the pulsed valve (28, 36) is triggered.
