  • the Plug-in SIM is a very small card.

  • a blog can be defined as a kind of frequent and potentially chronological publication of personal thoughts and/or Web links.
  • a Blog can be typically an instantaneous "picture" of what is occurring in a person's life. It is a living journal, an online chronicle of personal, creative and organizational life. It functions as a type of hybrid diary/guide site and there can be as many unique types of blogs as there are individual blog users, so- called bloggers. While blogs are also sometimes referred to as web logs or weblogs, the term "blog” is less likely to create confusion, as the term “web log” can also refer to a server's log files.
  • Bloggers often have a strong desire to express themselves in many different ways on the web.
  • Mobile communication devices provide a new method to publish and update blogs easily.
  • One of the features that contributes to the popularity of blogs is that they are easily updatable, i. e., new information can be published frequently, which makes blogs "alive”.
  • mobile devices are now incorporating new functionalities that can be used to create content, such as photos, videos, sound records, etc.
  • These new functionalities offer valuable contents which can be created at anytime and anywhere just to capture a unique moment (knowing that the mobile phone is the device that everyone will carry all the time). As a blog owner, this content could be of great interest to feed your blog and better share these unique moments with your friends. For a blogger to update his/her blog with the content that the blogger has created with his/her mobile phone, the blogger has first to get the content uploaded to the remote server where his/her blog is hosted.
  • This uploading of the content can be done through a PC which is quite cumbersome as the blog owner has to connect his/her mobile phone to the PC. • If the blog owner (blogger) wants to upload the content while on the move, he/she can use his/her mobile phone but the limited interface (small screen) of the mobile phone will make the uploading quite complex and uncomfortable.
  • this manner of uploading is applicable to parameters that are not yet available on existing mobile devices but might appear in the future (e.g. GPS positioning, health information, walking speed, etc.). It could also apply to SMS and MMS that the blogger may want to publish on his/her blog.

  • the blog management module 10 also defines an human-machine interface enabling the blogger to suppress the accessibility to / delete data from the blog, for example when the blogger considers that pictures and/or comments are too old. Accordingly, the blog management module 10 generates, upon a clean-up request from the blogger, a prompting message on the screen of the mobile phone 2 inviting the blogger to enter an input for each picture and each comment to indicate if he/she desires to keep the picture / comment in his/her blog.

  • the blogger is requested to enter an input as to his desire to keep or not a picture/comment in turn for each picture/comment until inputs for all the pictures and comments have been received.
  • This embodiment also allows the blogger to select among the data stored in the storage device 12 selected data that are accessible by or through said mobile phone 2 via the first data transfer protocol P1.
  • the blog management module 10 defines rules of access to selected data which are accessible via the blog.
  • the present blog management module allows the end-user to associate a chosen password or PIN code to some parts of the content of the blog, for example to specific photos in a photo album of the blog.
  • a remote user tries to access to these specific photos, he is requested by the blog management module 10 to enter the required password or PIN code.
  • a remote user can thus view these specific photos only if he knows the password or PIN code and is able to enter it when attempting to view these photos.
