Abstract

Cette invention concerne un ensemble lit (10) qui comprend un châssis (12) et un cadre-support de matelas (14) configurable. Du côté pied du lit (10) se trouve un pied de lit (26) qui comporte un premier et un deuxième élément de raccord dépendant de type tige qui s'ajustent dans des alésages correspondants dans l'élément cadre. Une tête de lit (28) est fixée à un élément cadre du côté tête du lit (10). La tête de lit (28) est incurvée lorsqu'elle est vue de dessus de façon que ses côtés s'arrondissent à proximité des extrémités des panneaux de retenue de la tête (30). La tête de lit (28) comprend des raccords dont la forme leur permet de s'adapter aux raccords correspondants sur l'ensemble cadre dans une seule orientation. Le raccord préféré (34) présente de préférence une section transversale circulaire pourvue d'une entaille. Cette invention produit donc un mécanisme selon lequel la tête de lit peut uniquement être ajustée dans la bonne orientation et permet d'obtenir une grande tolérance entre les raccords mâles et femelles.
