Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hair dryer, and more particularly to a hair dryer capable of blowing blasts of cold air and hot air separately and simultaneously by use of a blast separator, so as to protect relaxed hairs from being damaged, and also capable of spraying vitamin onto the hairs by use of a vitamin radiation grill when the hair dryer operates.
- FlG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional hair dryer 100. Referring to FlG.
- the hair dryer 100 includes a body 110 and a handle 180.
- the body 110 is provided with an intake grill 112, through which external air flows in the body 110, and a blow grill 114, through which the air sucked through the intake grill 112 is discharged.
- the body 110 is provided at one rear side thereof with a motor housing 130 for accommodating a motor 140 driven by electric power supplied from an external power source.
- a blow fan 150 is coupled to the motor 140 to forcibly suck the air from the exterior through the intake grill 112.
- a support plate 120 is fixed to the motor housing 130 in such a way that the support plate is positioned in a direction from the intake grill to the blow grill (hereinafter referred to as "front direction").
- a heating wire 122 is wound around the support plate
- Reference numeral 182 denotes an operation switch for turning the hair dryer on or off by selection of a user.
- the conventional hair dryer has some following drawbacks. [8] After the user uses a blast of hot air by pushing a hot-air mode switch 182a down, if the user wants to use a blast of cold air, the user turns the hot-air mode switch 182a off, and then turns a cold-air mode switch 182b on to blow the blast of cold air. [9] Accordingly, it is troublesome to again turn the cold-air mode switch on, in order to contract the hairs relaxed by the blast of hot air. [10] Also, in case the hairs are relaxed and damaged by the blast of hot air and then the hairs are blown by the blast of cold air after a desired interval, it is not possible to recover the relaxed and damaged hairs.
- the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a hair dryer having a blast separator in a body which can blow blasts of cold air and hot air separately and simultaneously.
