Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a compact cardboard tray of the stackable type, of special application for the transport of fruits and other perishable products.
  • the compact cardboard tray is conceived with a geometry such that it allows to fix on it a protective foil specially designed to cover and protect the products contained in the tray during its transport.
  • EP 1 184 289 refers to a stackable tray for the transport of fruit and horticultural products, which is formed from a single block or from five independent stamped pieces that form a base, some major side walls and some minor side walls or front walls, the ends being formed with a double wall whose outer wall consists in a lateral extension of the greater lateral wall that adheres on the internal wall of the tester.
