Abstract
L'invention concerne un élément filtrant céramique (18) à résistance réduite à l'écoulement et des procédés permettant de le produire. L'invention concerne un élément filtrant, servant notamment à filtrer des gaz d'échappement de moteur à combustion interne Diesel, qui présente une surface d'entrée (22) et une surface de sortie (24), une pluralité de canaux d'entrée (28) et une pluralité de canaux de sortie (30). Les canaux d'entrée (28) commencent au niveau de la surface d'entrée (22) et sont fermés au niveau de la surface de sortie (24). Les canaux de sortie (30) sont fermés au niveau de la surface d'entrée (22) et se terminent au niveau de la surface de sortie (24). Ledit élément filtrant céramique se caractérise en ce qu'une surface de section transversale (A) d'au moins un canal d'entrée (28) diminue en direction d'un axe longitudinal (X) de l'élément filtrant (18).
