Abstract

Se trata de un método sencillo, económico, fácilmente adaptable a escala industrial, que permite la obtención de un producto de calidad farmacéutica con un alto rendimiento, que se basa en hacer reaccionar un derivado fatlimido-amlodipina con un agente desprotector en presencia de un disolvente inerte, como puede ser una mezcla de tolueno e isopropanol, para formar amlodipina por adición de ácido bencenosulfónico, el bencenosulfonato de amlodipina crudo obtenido puede recristalizarse, para obtener así un producto sólido cristalino, de calidad farmacéutica, con un rendimiento de recristalización elevado, por encima del 95%.
