  • a deformable cavity 49 is in this manner defined by the bladder 46 between the sump plate 42, the wall 44 and the upper plate 48.

  • the conduit 35 is elongate and as is illustrated in Figure 3 the second section 36 extends to a pressure gauge 60 which is situated in the control box 38.
  • the control box 38 has an external housing 62.
  • a central processing unit or converter 64 is located in the housing 62.
  • Input means 66 in the form of the pressure gauge 60 and a keyboard 68 are in communication with the converter 64.
  • a power supply 70, a memory storage means 72 and an output means 74 are connected to and in communication with the converter 64.
  • the gauge 60 is in any appropriate form and can for example be in the form of a mechanical, hydraulic or electronic gauge. Measurements taken by the gauge 60 are communicated to the converter 64.
  • the keyboard 68 is in any appropriate form and can have various input buttons or switches.
  • the keyboard 68 is used to program or manipulated data and measurements which are communicated to the converter 64 by the pressure gauge 60 and stored on the memory 72.
  • the power supply 70 can be of any appropriate kind and is for example in the form of a 12 volt power supply.
  • the memory 72 is in the form of a hard drive on which appropriate software and data are stored.
  • the output means 74 consists of a display 76 in the form of a computer screen and a printer device 78 of known construction.
  • the primary function of the converter 64 is to convert pressure measurements measured by the gauge 60 into weight measurements.
  • the converter 64 receives input from the gauge 60 and keyboard 68, manipulates information it receives, stores information on and retrieves information from the memory 72, displays information on the display 76 and prints information on the printer 78.   • Each front wheel 18 rolls onto the weighing surface 50 of the respective holder 30, 32 by way of the rear ramps 56B, D.
  • the weight of the vehicle 10 on the front wheels 18 causes the upper plate 48 to move relatively to the sump plate 42 which results in compression of the bladder 46.
  • the bladder 46 is deformable and the pressure exerted on the fluid 58 in the bladders 46, 46A is conveyed through the conduit 35 to the gauge 60.
  • the gauge 60 measures the pressure exerted on the bladders 46A, B and the measurement is communicated to and recorded by the converter 64.

  • the cavity 49B does not have a sealed, fluid impervious material used for the bladder 46 which forms the cavity 49 as the cavity 49B is defined by opposing bladder surfaces of the sump plate 42B, wall 44B and upper plate 48B.
  • the holder 3OB functions in all respects in the same manner as the holders 30, 32.

Pont-bascule (12) qui est transportable et qui comprend un premier support (30), un premier élément de vessie (46) qui est engagé avec le premier support, une première surface de pesage (50) qui est engagée avec le premier élément de vessie, un second support (32) qui est espacé du premier support, un second élément de vessie (46A) qui est engagé avec le second support, une seconde surface de pesage (50A) qui est engagée avec le second élément de vessie, une conduite (35) qui est en communication avec les premier et second éléments de vessie, une jauge de pression (60) qui est connectée à la conduite et un convertisseur (64) qui est en communication avec la jauge de pression.
