Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble (10) d'absorption d'énergie, notamment pour un pare-chocs de véhicule automobile, du type comportant une poutre transversale (11) reliée aux longerons (6) de la caisse du véhicule. Cet ensemble comprend un empilement de deux absorbeurs (15 ; 25) en appui sur la poutre transversale (11) et se recouvrant au moins partiellement en ménageant entre eux et avec la poutre transversale un volume libre, lesdits absorbeurs comprenant, d'une part, un absorbeur externe (15) pour les plus faibles chocs de pare-chocs et, d'autre part, un absorbeur interne (25) pour les chocs plus importants.
