Abstract
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren sieht vor, dass in zusätzliche, im unteren Hochofenschacht, dem Kohlensack und/oder der Rast angeordnete Blasformen Reduktionsgas eingeblasen wird. Um die bei der Injektion von technischen Gasen auftretenden Nachteile zu vermeiden, wird das einzusetzende Reduktionsgas durch die partielle Sauerstoffvergasung staubförmigen Kohlenstoffträgers bzw hochreaktiver flüssiger oder gasförmiger Kohlenwasserstoffe erzeugt.
