Abstract

Un procédé de réfrigération d'une ou plusieurs charges thermiques selon lequel on dispose d'une première source de CO2 provenant d'un système de froid mécanique, et où l'on alimente un ou plusieurs évaporateurs à partir de cette première source afin d'y réaliser l'évaporation du CO2 et ainsi refroidir ladite une ou plusieurs charges thermiques, et se caractérisant en ce que l'on dispose d'une seconde source de CO2, constituée par un stockage cryogénique de CO2, et en ce que l'on procède à un apport de CO2 à partir de ladite seconde source, de manière à ce que le débit de fluide alimentant le ou les évaporateurs soit un mélange de CO2 liquide issu de ladite première source et de CO2 liquide issu de ladite seconde source.
