Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Material für elektrochrome Schichten auf der Basis eines pH-aktivierten Farbumschlags. Das Material ist Bestandteil einer Formulierung, die, eingebracht in ein organisches elektronisches Bauelement wie ein Display, bei Anlegen einer Spannung einen reversiblen Farbumschlag zeigt. Die Lebensdauer derartiger Formulierungen wird mit dem erfindungsgemäss eingesetzten Betain-Chromophor erheblich erhöht.
