Abstract

The present invention relates to multiple coating compositions used to indicate the presence of a contaminant. The coating composition includes a pigment that reacts with contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen, ammonia, benzene or other hazardous contaminants by visibly changing color. The coating may be formulated for use on a variety of substrates.
