Abstract
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of hunting munitions, namely bullets for hunting plain-barrel guns. The inventive method for imparting a rotation movement to a bullet in an arm barrel channel consists in passing a gaseous working body through a bullet (1) and in forming a torque. For this purpose, the bullet comprises a small turbine (3), which is provided with input and output orifices. The turbine working medium is embodied in the form of the air contained in the barrel channel before the bullet. After the bullet attains a supersonic speed and prior to the exit thereof from the barrel, the inventive method consists in pumping air and compressing it to a pressure greater than the explosive gas pressure in the after-charge space (7), wherein the compressed air is supplied to the small turbine and is discharged therethrough to said after-charge space. Said invention makes it possible to impart a rotation movement to a bullet in an arm barrel channel and the gyroscopic stability thereof just after projection from the barrel and to increase the bullet initial speed.
