Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Hyperpolarisation von Lithiumatomen in einem Gemisch durch optisches Pumpen in einer Probenzelle mittels optisches Pumpen von Atomen einer ersten Alkalimetallsorte und Spinaustausch vom optisch gepumpten Elektron dieses Alkalimetalls auf das Elektron des Lithium-atoms. Die Lithiumatome werden vorteilhaft zu Li+- Ionen oxidiert und akkumuliert. Die Kernspinpolarisation der Li+- Ionen kann auf den Kernspin eines Anions übertragen werden.
