Abstract

La présente invention concerne un hydrocarbure liquide extra-léger tiré d'une cire à forte teneur en paraffine, convenant comme huile diluante pour additif de lubrifiant dans des concentrés d'additifs solubles dans l'huile. Ledit hydrocarbure liquide a une viscosité comprise entre environ 1,0 et 3,5 cSt à 100 °C, une volatilité Noack inférieure à 50 % en poids, et comprend plus de 3 % en poids de molécules à fonctionnalité paraffinique et moins de 3 % en poids d'aromatiques. Cet hydrocarbure liquide extra-léger constitue une excellente huile diluante pour additif de lubrifiant par suite de sa faible volatilité, de sa faible viscosité, de sa bonne solubilité des additifs et de sa solubilité remarquable dans des huiles de base lubrifiantes. La présente invention concerne également des lubrifiants finis comprenant les concentrés d'additifs solubles pour huiles fabriqués à partir de l'hydrocarbure liquide extra-léger et des lubrifiants finis comprenant les concentrés d'additifs solubles pour huiles. De plus, l'inventionconcerne des procédés de fabrication d'huiles diluantes pour additifs de lubrifiants, de concentrés d'additifs solubles pour huiles et de lubrifiants finis.
