Definitions

  • oxygen and gas for ignition and flame generation can be supplied to an ignition unit in a mixed state or a separated state. Consequently, the user can efficiently select the state of supplying oxygen and gas according to the volume of the object or according to the intended purpose. Furthermore, in the case in which oxygen and gas are supplied in a mixed state for forming a flame, because the oxygen and gas are mixed while being ejected, it is possible to enhance the intensity of the ignition flame.
  • Korean Patent Application No. 10-2003-0017295 In this gas cutting machine, a user holds a grip of the machine with one hand and opens a gas valve with the other hand. Subsequently, the user holds an ignition grip and moves it backwards. Then, a gate of an ignition unit is opened, thereby an ignition valve is also opened and, simultaneously, a piezoelectric device is pushed. Thus, electricity is generated, so that a first ignition nozzle sparks. Then, a flame is generated in the ignition unit and reaches an end of a nozzle tip without being affected by the wind. If the user releases the ignition grip after the nozzle tip is ignited, the ignition flame is eliminated, and the gate of the ignition unit is closed, thus preventing the penetration of foreign substances. However, there is difficulty in applying the structure of this gas cutting machine to a small-sized cutting machine.
