Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de déterminer la perméabilité de zones productrices d'hydrocarbures prometteuses dans une formation souterraine dans laquelle un trou de forage a été réalisé. Le procédé de cette invention permet d'évaluer 'en temps réel' la perméabilité d'une formation à l'aide de techniques de diagraphie pendant le forage. Le procédé de cette invention consiste à mesurer la résistivité de la formation et à utiliser des paramètres connus, tels que la vitesse de pénétration d'un trépan dans la formation et la distance qui sépare le trépan de l'outil de résistivité incorporé dans l'ensemble de diagraphie pendant le forage (LWD), afin de déterminer la perméabilité de la formation souterraine. Un journal de perméabilité peut ainsi être élaboré, lequel identifie les zones perméables dans la formation.
