Abstract

L'invention concerne un système pour une évaluation des conditions dans un forage dans une formation souterraine, qui comprend : un outil de fond configuré pour être disposé dans le forage, l'outil de fond formant une partie d'un train de tiges de forage; au moins un capteur associé à l'outil de fond pour enregistrer un son généré dans le forage par l'outil de fond et pour générer des données représentant le son enregistré, le son enregistré ayant une fréquence sélectionnée à partir d'au moins un élément parmi une fréquence audible, une fréquence presque audible et une fréquence ultrasonique; et un processeur en communication opérationnelle avec le capteur, le processeur étant configuré pour recevoir les données sonores et pour identifier au moins une condition de fond sélectionnée parmi i) une condition de forage, ii) une caractéristique de la formation souterraine et iii) une intégrité de l'outil de fond, en comparant les données sonores enregistrées avec des modèles de données à titre d'exemple.
