Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de surveiller la pression de pneus de véhicules, au cours de la mise en oeuvre duquel une valeur de pression de pneu décrivant la pression de gonflage du pneu est déterminée. La valeur de pression du pneu déterminée est comparée à au moins une valeur théorique mémorisée et il est ensuite établi, au moyen du résultat de la comparaison, si le pneu du véhicule (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) présente une pression incorrecte, notamment une pression minimale du pneu. Selon l'invention, il est prévu de vérifier si des signaux de détection pour déterminer la pression de gonflage du pneu sont reçus dans une période prédéfinie. Le signal de détection reçu est évalué pour surveiller la pression de pneus de véhicule correspondants (10, 20, 30, 40, 50). La surveillance de la pression d'au moins un pneu de véhicule (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) est désactivée, si aucun signal de détection n'est reçu dans une période prédéfinie.
