Abstract
La présente invention concerne des moniteurs vidéo et des téléviseurs à écran plat de même que des enceintes idoines. Les moniteurs vidéo et les téléviseurs à écran plat se présentent sous deux formes différentes, à savoir avec des écrans plasma d’une part et avec des écrans LCD d’autre part. Dans la conception de la maison moderne, dans n’importe quel salon dans lequel on trouve un moniteur de télévision ou vidéo, les sièges sont généralement angulaires de sorte que les gens peuvent facilement voir l’écran. Une telle configuration provoque des difficultés en ce sens qu’un téléviseur ou un moniteur vidéo constitue le point de focalisation de la pièce, même s’il n’est pas en service. Il y a d’autres problèmes dans la mesure où l’affichage à écran plat n’est généralement pas considéré comme agréable du point de vue esthétique. En outre, un équipement électrique onéreux ou modérément onéreux visible en permanence dans une salle peut constituer un risque pour la sécurité. La présente invention concerne un appareil pour une utilisation avec un affichage à écran plat, l’appareil comprenant : un contour de cheminée, adapté pour tenir contre un mur, sous forme de contour de cheminée, englobant un mécanisme capable de fonctionner pour supporter une télévision à écran plat dans une première position et une seconde position, l’affichage à écran plat pouvant être visualisé au-dessus du contour de cheminée dans une position d’exploitation. Le contour de cheminée constitue un point de focalisation naturel de la pièce.
