According to the invention, at least one adjustment and/or information is processed by means of an application implemented in the subscriber card. The invention also relates to a corresponding subscriber card.

The processing of settings and information by the communication with the voice computer of the mobile operator is tedious, time consuming and error prone. The invention is based on the object to provide a simple, user-friendly and cost-effective method for processing settings and information relating to an existing mobile phone contract.

In the method according to the independent claim 1, it is assumed that a mobile telephone contract exists over a subscriber card in a mobile radio system. With the subscriber card, in conjunction with the mobile contract, a mobile terminal in a mobile system is operable. The mobile radio system is usually operated by the mobile operator, with whom the user of the subscriber card has concluded the mobile phone contract. According to the invention, a processing of settings and / or information is carried out, in which at least one setting and / or information is processed by means of an application implemented in the subscriber card.

Since the processing takes place by means of an application implemented in the subscriber card, the user of the mobile terminal can carry out the processing, at least for the most part, at his terminal. In particular, no mobile radio connection to the mobile radio operator needs to be permanently active. The user can perform all required inputs offline, without connection to the mobile operator and without time pressure. Only after completion of the inputs, the user needs to establish a connection to the mobile operator so that the user can instruct the mobile operator with the desired processing according to the input made. The user can perform the inputs in the familiar environment of the terminal, which is why the method is simple and user-friendly. Since no permanent mobile connection is required, the method is also particularly cost-effective. Therefore, according to claim 1, a simple, user-friendly and cost-effective method for processing settings and information relating to an existing mobile telephony contract is provided.

Preferably, a processing data record is created during processing by means of the application, for example by inputs on the keyboard of the mobile terminal. The created processing data record is subsequently transmitted to the mobile radio operator. The transmitted processing record is finally evaluated by the mobile operator to effect the processing. The processing data set is preferably created offline, without a mobile connection between the mobile terminal or the subscriber card on the one hand and the mobile operator on the other. The user can therefore create the edit data set without time pressure, control and possibly improve, since no mobile costs incurred during the creation. Only when the mobile data record is transmitted to the mobile operator, a mobile connection is established to the mobile operator and preferably, as soon as the processing record is transmitted to the mobile operator, immediately interrupted again. When evaluating the processing data set, the mobile radio connection to the user is preferably interrupted again.

According to a preferred embodiment, the previously created processing data record is transmitted by means of a short message service, in particular SMS, to the mobile radio operator.

The processing is optionally carried out by means of a menu on a provided on the mobile terminal display. The application is preferably one from the Card Application Toolkit, which is preferably implemented in the subscriber card anyway.

Fig. 1 shows a section of a mobile phone with a display. The mobile phone is operated with a subscriber card (not shown) which is inserted in the mobile phone.
