Abstract
The invention relates to a device for monitoring at least one door area of a train comprising at least one carriage, in particular an underground train. The invention is characterised by at least one detection unit, which is situated on the carriage in the door region and which monitors an area between the carriage and the platform, and an evaluation unit for evaluating the signals emitted by the detection unit.
