Abstract

Cette invention concerne un siège de passager de ligne aérienne (1) avec un accessoire de mobilier adjacent (2)en vue de créer une surface de couchage plate. Le passager doit utiliser le siège (1) pour le décollage et l’atterrissage, mais il dispose de l’accessoire (2) en guise de chaise longue ou de lit. L’accessoire (2) exige en général la partie du coussin de siège pour créer l’espace de couchage complet. En cas de présence d’un accoudoir central, une articulation est nécessaire pour libérer l’espace de couchage. Une coquille dossier (4) permet d’isoler le siège des autres passagers à des fins d’intimité. Très souvent, la position de l’accessoire (2) est en angle par rapport au siège (1) pour fournir un espace de couchage long compte tenu des contraintes de cote de l’avion et du nombre maximum de places de passagers.
