Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de mesure d'une épaisseur d'un sillon gingival, dispositif comprenant : un corps, une plaque fixe ayant une extrémité fixée dans le corps et l'autre extrémité exposée à l'extérieur du corps, une plaque mobile ayant une extrémité reliée pivotante à la plaque fixe, et l'autre extrémité mobile, une tige ayant un élément indicateur d'épaisseur, capable d'indiquer une épaisseur insérée dans un sillon gingival lorsqu'une partie de cette tige est insérée dans ledit sillon, ladite tige étant reliée à un bord de l'autre extrémité de la plaque mobile, et un élément élastique destiné à solliciter élastiquement la plaque mobile par rapport à la plaque fixe, de façon que la plaque mobile puisse pivoter par rapport à la plaque fixe d'une quantité correspondant à une pression transférée d'une extrémité distale de la tige. Du fait que l'épaisseur du sillon gingival est mesurée pendant que la pression correspondant à la force de poussée du dispositif de mesure est contrôlée, la précision et la fiabilité de la mesure sont améliorées. En outre, du fait que la pression appliquée et l'épaisseur mesurée peuvent être contrôlées même à l'extérieur de la bouche du patient, l'épaisseur mesurée est aisément identifiée par un utilisateur et l'erreur de mesure est réduite.
