Abstract

Bei einem Eingabegerät zur Eingabe von Signalen in ein elektronisches Gerät wird die Übergabe von benutzerausgelösten Positionsdaten und/oder diskreten Daten in vereinfachter und intuitiver Form ermöglicht, indem ein Tastfeld zur Eingabe von Positionsdaten vorgesehen ist, über welches Positionsdaten eines mit dem Tastfeld (1, 16) von oben in Kontakt befindlichen Eingabeobjektes (Finger, Stift) an den Prozessor übermittelt werden, indem wenigstens zwei spezifisch zugewiesene Tastenbereiche (6), über welche mit einem Eingabeobjekt diskrete Eingaben an den Prozessor übermittelt werden können, vorgesehen sind. Dabei sind die Tastenbereiche (6) in das Tastfeld (1 ,16) integriert und bilden Bestandteil desselben, und es ist wenigstens ein taktiles Mittel (4,26) unterhalb des Tastfeldes (1,16) angeordnet, welches in Abhängigkeit der durch ein Eingabeobjekt in einem Tastenbereich (6) angelegten Kraft eine taktile Rückmeldung gibt.
