Abstract

Von elektrischen Einrichtungen wird in der Regel eine hohe Zuverlässigkeit und Betriebssicherheit gefordert. Dies gilt insbesondere für Kommunikations Systeme, wo die ständige Verfügbarkeit aller Einrichtungen zwingend erforderlich ist. Aus diesem Grund wird zur Sicherstellung der Betriebssicherheit Rechnerkapazität in Reserve gehalten, um bei Ausfall einer elektrischen Einrichtung die hier momentan ablaufenden Funktionen auf (aktive) weitere elektrische Einrichtung übertragen zu können. Die Steuerung dieser Vorgänge wird von einer Redundanzkontrolle übernommen. Problematisch bei dem Stand der Technik ist, dass alle Verfahren zur Redundanzkontrolle teuer (zusätzliche HW/Einrichtungen) oder unzuverlässig (Gefahr von Split Brain) oder manchmal auch beides sind. Die Erfindung schafft hier Abhilfe, indem vorgesehen ist, dass jede der elektrischen Einrichtungen von einer weiteren der elektrischen Einrichtungen überwacht wird, und ggf. ihrerseits wenigstens eine der elektrischen Einrichtungen überwacht.
