Abstract

Plasmabrenner mit: einem Brennerkörper, einer im Brennerkörper angeordneten Elektrode, einer Düse, die eine zentrale Düsenöfthung aufweist und so angeordnet ist, daß sie die Elektrode durch einen Plasmagaskanal getrennt abdeckt, der zwischen diesen gebildet ist, einer Düsenschutzkappe, die eine an ihrer vorderen Endseite angeordnete, der Düsenöffhung gegenüberliegende Austrittsöffhung und einen ringförmigen Sekundärgaskanal innerhalb der Düsenschutzkappe aufweist, der mit der Austrittsöffhung in Verbindung steht, wobei die Düsenschutzkappe bezüglich der Elektrode und der Düse elektrisch isoliert angeordnet ist, und einem Sekundärgasfuhrungsteil, das mindestens einen Durchlaß aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Sekundärgasfuhrungsteil im Sekundärgaskanal zwischen einem Sekundärgaseinlaß und dem vorderen Ende des Sekundärgaskanals angeordnet ist und der Sekundärgaskanal zwischen dem Sekundärgasfuhrungsteil und seinem vorderen Ende derart ausgebildet ist, daß er das Sekundärgas SG nach dem Passieren des Sekundärgasführungsteils und eines zur Längsachse L des Plasmabrenners im wesentlichen parallelen Sekundärgaskanalteils schräg zur Längsachse L des Plasmabrenners in Richtung zum vorderen Ende des Plasmabrenners führt und danach unter einem im wesentlichen rechten Winkel zur Längsachse L des Plasmabrenners einem Plasmastrahl zufuhrt.
