Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un matériau colmatant artificiel destiné à améliorer un phénomène de colmatage, ceci afin d’accélérer la fibrose de la cavité interne d’un vaisseau sanguin. La présente invention décrit notamment une bobine caractérisée en ce qu’elle est constituée d’un corps principal de métal, formant une bobine, et de ténascine-C immobilisée sur la surface de ladite bobine à l’aide d’héparine. En confinant cette bobine à l’intérieur de l’anévrisme, le volume intérieur de la dilatation se remplit rapidement de cellules musculaires lisses (CML). Une fibrose substantiellement totale se produit un mois environ après le confinement initial.
