[0018] 図 1は、本発明の一実施形態に係るリモートメンテナンスシステムの構成を示してい る。図 1のように、本実施形態のリモートメンテナンスシステム 1は、直動装置 2と、それ を制御するモータドライバ(モータ制御装置) 3と、モータドライバ 3に接続されたユー ザ一端末 (情報処理装置) 4とを備える。ユーザー端末 4は、インターネット (電気通信 回線) 6を通じてメンテナンスサーバ 5と通信可能である。
[0019] 直動装置 2は、概略、ベース部 20と、ベース部 20に対してスライド自在に設けられ たスライダ (移動体) 21とからなる。本実施形態では、スライダ 21の直動機構として 2 基のリニアガイド 22を採用し、ベース部 20の両側に 2条のレール 22aを設け、スライ ダ 21の裏面に 2つのブロック 22bを取り付けている。レール 22aとブロック 22bの間に は複数の転動体 (ボールまたはローラ)が介在しており、スライダ 21移動時には転動 体が転がり運動をすることで滑らかな直線運動を実現する。
[0020] スライダ 21の駆動手段としてはリニアモータ 23を採用している。ベース部 20の底面 に永久磁石のマグネットプレート 23aが設けられ、スライダ 21の下部には可動子 23b が固定されている。モータドライバ 3によって可動子 23bの磁力および極性を適宜変 化させることにより、スライダ 21の位置 ·速度 '加速度を制御することができる。
[0021] スライダ 21の位置 '速度'加速度の検出には、位置検出手段であるリニアェンコ一 ダ 24を利用する。スライダ 21に固定したヘッド 24bで、ベース部 20に取り付けられた リニアスケール 24aを読み取る仕組みである。リニアエンコーダ 24の検出結果は、モ ータドライバ 3に入力され、リニアモータ 23のフィードバック制御に供される。
[0022] 図 2は、モータドライバ 3の機能構成を示すブロック図である。このモータドライバ 3 は、制御部 30、メモリ 31、および、電流検出部 32を有している。
[0023] 制御部 30では、設定された制御プログラムに従って、 U, V, W相それぞれの電流 の周波数および振幅変調を行 、、その三相交流電流をリニアモータ 23へと供給する 。この供給電流に従ってリニアモータ 23が動作し、スライダ 21が移動する。スライダ 2 1の位置 ·速度 ·加速度情報はリニアェンコーダ 24で検出され、逐次制御部 30に入 力される。制御部 30では、その検出結果に基づいてリニアモータ 23への供給電流を フィードバック制御し、スライダ 21に所期の運動を行わせる。
[0024] 図 3は、フィードバック制御系を概念的に示すブロック線図である。このブロック線図 に示されるように、本実施形態では、位置ループと速度ループにカ卩え、加速度ルー プを設けている。加速度ループを設けることにより、本質的な外乱抑圧制御を可能と している。フィードバック制御に用いる制御パラメータとしては、位置ループの時定数 Tp、速度ループの時定数 Tv、および、加速度ループのゲイン ΚΑがある。また、サー ボ剛性を調整するためにゲイン KLを用いて 、る。
[0025] これらの制御パラメータは、メモリ 31に格納されている。メモリ 31は、 EEPROM (El ectrically Erasable Programmable Read- Only Memory)などの書き換 可會な不揮発 性の記憶手段である。メモリ 31には、上記制御パラメータの他、モータ制御に関する 種々のパラメータが格納されている。制御部 30は、これらのパラメータを適宜参照し ながらモータ制御を実行する。
[0026] 制御パラメータ以外のパラメータとしては、たとえば、リニアエンコーダ 24の分解能 、リニアモータ 23に供給する定格電流、過負荷を判定するための最大電流値 (異常 判定値)、スライダ 21の最大速度、加速'減速特性、スライダ 21の原点などがある。パ ラメータの設定値は 、ずれも変更可能である。
[0027] 電流検出部(電流センサ) 32は、リニアモータ 23への供給電流の値を検出する検 出手段である。電流検出部 32は、電流供給ラインを流れる電流を監視して、その波 形 (電流変化)をディジタル信号に変換する。
[0028] ユーザー端末 4は、ハードウェアとして CPU (中央演算処理装置)、主記憶装置、 補助記憶装置、表示装置、入力装置、外部機器 IZF、ネットワーク IZFなどを備える 汎用的なコンピュータにより構成することができる。ユーザー端末 4は、外部機器 IZF を介してモータドライバ 3に接続されており、またネットワーク I/Fを介してインターネ ット 6に接続されている。
[0029] ユーザー端末 4では、補助記憶装置に格納されているプログラムが主記憶装置に 読み込まれ、 CPUにより実行されることにより、リモートメンテナンスの実施に必要な 諸機能が実現される。主な機能としては、モータドライバ 3のメモリ 31に設定されてい る各種パラメータや電流検出部 32の検出結果をモータドライバ 3から取得する機能( 取得手段)、取得したパラメータ等をメンテナンスサーバ 5に送信する機能 (送信手段 )、メンテナンスサーバ 5からパラメータを受信する機能 (受信手段)、ノ メータをモ ータドライノ 3のメモリ 31に書き込む機能 (書込手段)、電子メールを送受信する機能 などがある。
[0030] (メンテナンス処理) 上述したパラメータは、直動装置 2の駆動条件 (速度、加速度、スライダ 21にかかる 負荷など)に応じた適切な値に設定する必要がある。不適切な値が設定されていると 、直動装置 2の不具合、誤動作、故障等の原因になり得るからである。
[0031] そこで以下、図 4〜図 6を参照して、パラメータを適切な値に設定するためのメンテ ナンス処理について詳しく説明する。図 4、図 5は、ユーザー端末 4、モータドライバ 3 、直動装置 2、および、メンテナンスサーバ 5それぞれの処理の流れを示すシーケン ス図である。図 6は、メンテナンスサーバ 5に表示されるパラメータ表示画面の一例で ある。
[0032] <処理例 1 >
図 4の処理例では、まず、ユーザー端末 4が、モータドライバ 3から各パラメータの値 を取得する (ステップ S100)。そして、ユーザー端末 4は、各パラメータの情報を所定 形式の通信用パラメータデータに変換し、そのパラメータデータをメンテナンスサー ノ 5に送信する (ステップ S 101)。
[0033] 本実施形態では、パラメータの識別番号と値とを組み合わせた形式のパラメータデ ータを用いる。たとえば、ノ ラメータ「位置ループの時定数」の識別番号が「01」であり 、その設定値が「50」の場合には、「01, 50」というデータを送信する。パラメータが複 数のときは、たとえば、「01, 50 ;02, 100 ; . . .」のように繰り返せばよい。また、パラ メータデータには、モータドライバ 3もしくは直動装置 2を特定するための識別情報( たとえば製造番号)を含めるとよい。
[0034] メンテナンスサーバ 5は、ユーザー端末 4からパラメータデータを受信すると、その データを解析し、各パラメータの値を表示装置に表示する。パラメータ表示画面には 、各パラメータについて名称、値、設定可能範囲が表示される(図 6の左画面参照)。 またパラメータ表示画面には、 OKボタンやキャンセルボタンが設けられている。初期 表示ではユーザー端末 4力 受信した値が表示される。
[0035] 通常、メンテナンスサーバ 5は、直動装置 2の技術サポート要員が操作する。その操 作者は、必要に応じて電話や電子メールで直動装置 2のユーザーと連絡を取りなが ら、パラメータ表示画面に表示された値を閲覧し、当該ユーザーの利用環境や駆動 条件とパラメータの値とが合致して 、る力否かを確認する。パラメータの値が不適切 な場合には、操作者がパラメータ表示画面上で適切な値に調整する (ステップ S 103
) o
[0036] ノラメータの調整が終了したら、操作者が OKボタンを押す。すると、メンテナンスサ ーバ 5が、各パラメータの情報をパラメータデータに変換し、ユーザー端末 4に送信 する (ステップ S104)。このとき、すべてのパラメータを送信してもよいが、値の変更さ れたパラメータに関する情報のみを送信するようにすれば、処理の高速化と単純ィ匕 の観点力 好ましい。たとえば、位置ループの時定数の値のみを「60」に変更したの であれば、「01, 60」というデータを送信するのである。
[0037] そして、メンテナンスサーバ 5は、パラメータ調整に係る一連の処理内容をログとし てデータベースに記録する(ステップ S105)。これにより、パラメータの調整履歴がメ ンテナンスサーバ 5に蓄積されていく。
[0038] ユーザー端末 4は、メンテナンスサーバ 5からパラメータデータを受信すると、その データを解析する。そして、変更のあったパラメータについては、その変更後の値を モータドライバ 3のメモリ 31に書き込み、パラメータの更新を行う(ステップ S106)。こ れ以降は、新たなパラメータにてモータ制御が実施される。
[0039] <処理例 2>
図 5の処理例では、まず、ユーザー端末 4が、モータドライバ 3に対して自動運転命 令を送信する (ステップ S200)。すると、モータドライノく 3が現在のパラメータ設定に 従ってモータ制御を行 、 (ステップ S 201)、直動装置 2を自動運転する (ステップ S2 02)。モータドライバ 3は、電流検出部 32により自動運転中における供給電流の値を 検出し、その波形 (電流変化)を記録していく(ステップ S203)。
[0040] 次に、ユーザー端末 4が、モータドライバ 3から各パラメータの値と、ステップ S203 で検出された電流変化とを取得する (ステップ S 204)。そして、ユーザー端末 4は、 各パラメータおよび電流変化の情報を所定形式の通信用パラメータデータに変換し 、そのパラメータデータをメンテナンスサーバ 5に送信する(ステップ S205)。
[0041] メンテナンスサーバ 5は、ユーザー端末 4からパラメータデータを受信すると、その データを解析し、処理例 1と同様、各パラメータの値を表示装置に表示する (ステップ S206)。このとき、パラメータ表示画面には、供給電流の波形も表示される(図 6の右 画面参照)。
[0042] 時定数やループゲインなどの制御パラメータが適切に設定され、安定した制御が 実現されている場合には、供給電流も安定した波形を呈する。しかし、制御パラメ一 タが不適切な場合には、直動装置 2に異音や振動が発生し、それに応じた異常な波 形が供給電流に現れる。したがって、メンテナンスサーバ 5の操作者は、供給電流の 波形を観察することにより、制御パラメータの値を高精度に調整することができる (ス テツプ S207)。
[0043] パラメータ調整後の処理 (ステップ S208〜S210)は、処理例 1のもの(ステップ S1
04〜S106)と同様である。
[0044] 以上述べた本実施形態の構成によれば、メンテナンスサーバ 5において、直動装 置 2のパラメータの内容を確認したり、パラメータを調整したり、調整後のパラメータを モータドライバ 3に書き込んだりできる。したがって、直動装置 2の設置場所に行かな くとも、遠隔地力 直動装置 2のパラメータ調整を行うことが可能となる。
[0045] また、処理例 2によれば、メンテナンスサーバ 5において、直動装置 2のリニアモータ
23への供給電流の変化を観察できるので、高精度かつ信頼性の高 、パラメータ調 整を行うことができるようになる。
[0046] また、パラメータの調整履歴を蓄積することで、パラメータ調整のノウハウが蓄積さ れ、トラブル対応の迅速化、知識ベースの実現、パラメータ調整の自動化などの効果 が期待できる。
[0047] なお、上記実施形態は本発明の一具体例を例示したものにすぎない。本発明の範 囲は上記実施形態に限られるものではなぐその技術思想の範囲内で種々の変形が 可能である。

また、メンテナンスサーバ 5も複数のユーザー端末 4と通信することができる。さらにメ ンテナンスサーバ 5を複数設けることも好ましぐその場合には、ユーザー端末 4から のアクセス負荷を分散するようにするとよい。パラメータの調整履歴を蓄積するデータ ベースは、複数のメンテナンスサーバ 5で共有することが好まし 、。
[0049] また、上記実施形態では、ユーザー端末 4とモータドライバ 3とを別の装置で構成し たが、両者の機能を単一の装置に実装することも可能である。
[0050] また、上記実施形態では直動機構としてリニアガイドを採用したが、その他にも、ボ ールねじ、ローラねじ、ボールスプラインまたはそれらの組み合わせも好適に採用で きる。

前記直動装置のモータを制御するモータ制御装置と、
前記モータ制御装置に接続され、かつ、電気通信回線を通じてメンテナンスサーバ と通信可能な情報処理装置と、を備え、
前記モータ制御装置は、モータ制御に関するパラメータを記憶する記憶手段を有 し、
前記情報処理装置は、
前記モータ制御装置から前記パラメータを取得する取得手段と、
取得したパラメータを前記メンテナンスサーバに送信する送信手段と、 前記メンテナンスサーバにお 、て調整されたパラメータを前記メンテナンスサーバ から受信する受信手段と、
受信したパラメータを前記モータ制御装置の記憶手段に書き込む書込手段と、を 有する
リモートメンテナンスシステム。
[2] 前記モータ制御装置は、前記直動装置のモータに供給する電流または電圧の値を 検出する検出手段をさらに有し、
